Jay Cooke park

Jay Cooke state park lies about 25 miles south of Duluth.  I just happens to be one of the prettiest sites in the area and when the fall colours are on display, well, it jus doesn't get any better.

Julie and I went out for a hike there today... the photos tell the whole story... so nice!

Couldn't bypass this photo of the ideal, soft seated biffy... I just couldn't find the GDTP!

The photo above is the St Louis river which feeds the streams and lakes within the state park.

It was a fun day... good for the soul...

Autumn is here... definitely!

Everywhere you go these days the wonderful colours of autumn are here...  It's such a wonderful time of the year.  I went out today and took a few pics... even though it was somewhat cloudy, the colours were fantastic.

This pic was taken from our deck the other day.  First time I've seen 4 ships lined up waiting to go into the harbour.

oh yes.. Life is Good.

A bit of an update.

Jill passed on some recent photos of the girls a while ago and I thought I'd post some of my favourites.  Looking at these pics reminds me how much I miss and love my girls... Too bad we are not all a bit closer to each other.. hard to just "be there" when you feel like it.  Oh well, que-sera sera.

Nice to have a photographer in the family.. my girls are growing up.. Hope to see them before Christmas..

Life is good.
