Hiking the Frame Lake Trail
Took a hike around the city today.. the Frame Lake Trail circles the greater part of the city and gives some really nice views of the water with the skyline in the background. It's about a 2 hour hike for an older person... like me... got some nice pics.
Knee throbbing a bit... back kinda stiff... will sleep good tonight.
Life is Good...
Yellowknife tourist..
I finally got to play tourist the past few days so I loaded up my camera and hit for some hotspots.
First stop with the Prince of Wales Museum... I was kind of disappointed with the displays as two of the main rooms were undergoing renovations and were closed up... great time to start a major renovation with tourist season just around the corner.
I did manage to take some pics at the wildlife gallery.. good mix of local Northern fauna...
It's a fun gallery... motion activated for the sounds the animals make.. the polar bear was the first one I saw and the growl of the bear almost scared this great white hunter.
Life is good.
