Of course, these Minnesotans have me brainwashed about how cold it is and I forget walking to a New Year's Party in Inuvik years ago when the temp was -50C and the snow was crunching under foot as I walked along the street.
Anyways, the lake looked damn cold this morning. Some nice sights at sunrise of the (I believe) John H Munson was sitting deckside (that's mariner talk) waiting to be the last ship to dock into the Duluth Harbour for the season. Supposed to go in tomorrow.
Was just watching the mist around the ship.. it would totally disappear at times... and thinking that a sailor's life probably isn't always that great.. but mine is d'accord.
