We're off on a week's holiday and are visiting an area that neither of us has experienced before. Yesterday we flew into Denver and drove about 7 hours south into New Mexico. We plan to spend the week in Santa Fe and use it as a base to explore around the northern part of the state.
If last nite's dinner was an omen, the food part is going to be all GOOD. Today we drove around the city to check out the sights and plan on areas that we wanted to visit. It was supposed to be stormy today but the sun was out and we had a nice time exploring the downtown market area which is about 3 blocks from where we are staying.
We booked a small house known as a casita. It is the adobe style in which all the buildings in this area are built.
We have the plans made for the next 4 days and are hoping the weather stays lovely.
Life is GOOD!
